Zehra Öztürk is Acting Head of Division and Deputy CIO of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Together with her team, she drives the integration of new technologies and innovations in the administration and shapes a future-proof application landscape through architecture management. The computer scientist is committed to diversity and is active in networks such as Re:form and NExT. She also initiated the Co-Pioneer Award for the re-utilization of existing solutions.

Creativity in Governance

This panel examines how approaches from the creative industries, design and systemic thinking can be more closely integrated into political decision-making processes. This also raises the question of how administration can become not only more efficient, but also more experimental, collaborative and innovative.

The discussion brings together perspectives from creative practice, science and public administration and asks what happens when creative methods are not only supplemented but become the starting point for political decision-making processes – and where this is or could be negotiated.
