CIRC&LOV circular lounge – Prototypes for Circular Furniture Design Made from Discarded Furniture

CIRC&LOV invites GCES visitors to the "Circular Lounge" – a temporary place to discover, try out and linger. The first prototypes created from discarded school and office furniture and new sustainable materials will be presented in the lounge, allowing visitors to experience CIRC&LOV's circular approach. The furniture is expressly designed to be used: Visitors can sit on it, test it and use it as an informal meeting place during breaks. In this way, the idea of circular transformation is not only shown, but can be experienced. At the back of the lounge, a surprise collaboration with an AI artist opens up an additional perspective: The dialogue between design, material and artificial intelligence reveals new questions and surprising aspects of CIRC&LOV's circular design approach.
