Svenja Bickert-Appleby

Svenja Bickert-Appleby is a consultant, designer, researcher and entrepreneur as well as an advisory board member of the Deutscher Design Club (DDC) e.V. She works at the interface of creativity and governance and understands transformation as a social practice. In 2013, she started in London in the field of design in government and brought these approaches to Germany. With her transformation studio New Order Design, she accompanies decision-makers from administration, business and politics in strategic innovation and co-design processes and researches co-design as a transformative practice in the context of sustainable urban development. Her mission is to raise awareness of the social impact of design decisions.
