Truth in the Feed: Journalism Between Platform Logic, AI & Education

Gen Z and Gen Alpha no longer find news first on homepages, but in their feeds. This is changing reach, formats - and the responsibility of journalism.

In this panel with NDR, we will discuss what journalistic work means in the platform age when it is not just about conveying content, but also about orientation: How can young target groups be reached without following the logic of outrage and clicks? What role does AI play in production, distribution and disinformation? And how can journalism actively strengthen media literacy - with formats, transparency and tools that make fact-checking, context and trust visible again? The aim is to take a practical look at new strategies for credibility in everyday digital life.

After the panel Gregor Schmazried will be available for questions and discussions at the Meeting Point in the West Foyer at 15:00.

In cooperation with Norddeutscher Rundfunk.
