Sandra Freygarten is an artist, coach and member of the freeters art collective in Cologne. She teaches and researches the transfer of artistic action into non-artistic fields. She was previously a professor of art in change processes and art transfer.

Her focus is on the question of how artistic processes can sustainably expand ways of thinking and acting in organisations, teams and social contexts. In the art collective freeters, she develops and realises experimental spaces for working, learning and experimenting. These spaces are not created as backdrops, but as active interfaces for collective practice, identity and inspiration.

Programm

Apr28.

COLLIMBO. Collaborative Artistic Intelligence in Action. A Set of Cards.

At a time when agile and collaborative working methods are driving social change, COLLIMBO is a model of participatory future design. The playfully structured set of cards accompanies complex work processes and can be transferred to digital collaboration models. COLLIMBO focuses on artistic actions and changing constellations of collaboration. It interrupts familiar work processes, provides a space for co-creative processes and opens up new and pioneering approaches to familiar issues. In culture, business and science and wherever groups work with complexity, COLLIMBO unfolds its effect to develop solutions in open situations. As part of the GCES, we are presenting an intermedia installation for people who want to integrate innovative methods into their development and design processes.
