Prof Nico Hofmann

Nico Hofmann is one of Germany's most important film and television producers. In 2024, he set up his own company, "Nico Hofman Film". Until then, he had been with UFA since 1998, initially as Managing Director of the UFA subsidiary teamWorx, later also at the helm of UFA Fiction and most recently as CEO of the entire UFA Group. Hofmann has been honoured with numerous awards for his work. He was responsible for some of the most successful films and series such as "Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter", "Deutschland83" and "Charité". The feature film "Der Junge muss an die frische Luft" was the most successful German cinema production in 2018. Hofmann is also a professor at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and director of the Nibelungen Festival in Worms.
