Prof Dr Martin Kiel is Honorary Professor of Modern German Literature and Media Studies at the FernUniversität in Hagen. He previously taught communication theory and verbal communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. After completing his doctorate, he worked in various management roles, including at Thalia, Douglas Informatik and codecentric, with a focus on digitalisation and transformation. Today he runs the think tank the black frame.
