Michelle Müntefering has been CEO and spokesperson for the entire board of the Produktionsallianz (Alliance of German Producers – Film, Television, and Audiovisual Media) since 2025. From 2013 to 2025, she was a member of the Bundestag for the Herne-Bochum II constituency, including as spokesperson for the SPD parliamentary group for culture and media as well as for foreign cultural and education policy. As Minister of State for International Cultural Policy at the Federal Foreign Office from 2018 to 2021, she was part of the Federal Cabinet and responsible for international cultural policy. Between 2021 and 2025, she was Chair of the Subcommittee on Foreign Cultural and Educational Policy and Film Policy Spokesperson for the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag.
