Unsovereign! Europe's Approach to Art, Culture & Creativity

Europe is negotiating the far-reaching automation of thought, expression and the assumption of responsibility. This is unstoppable, they say. The gap between technological progress, social penetration and democratic control is widening. If we want to prevent it from becoming unmanageable, we need to shape developments. As has so often been the case, the way we deal with art, culture and creativity will be a seismograph for subsequent social disruption. Anyone who wants sovereignty must defend freedom – starting with the freedom of the mind, art and the press.

The impulse is part of "AI, copyright, business: Who owns creativity in the new AI age?".

In cooperation with the Initiative Urheberrecht.
