Katja Schurr -

Katja Schurr is a project manager at acameo, a Tübingen-based agency for digital communication. On behalf of acameo, she is responsible for the CyberLÄND initiative, which is being implemented together with MFG Baden-Württemberg and the Virtual Dimension Centre (VDC). CyberLÄND is a project funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism to strengthen and visualise immersive technologies.

THE CREATIVE LÄND VR Portal with AI Avatar MAIA

The XR showreel THE CREATIVE LÄND is an application that was developed in close collaboration with MFG Baden-Württemberg for Gamescom 2025 and has already generated a lot of enthusiasm there. On the Apple Vision Pro (AVP), visitors will experience an atmospheric showroom interface that makes 3D content, 360° experiences and interactive media intuitively tangible via gaze and gestures. A special connection is created by MAIA: the lioness MAIA reappears in the AVP as an iconic visual, while the AI avatar MAIA of the CyberLÄND community platform is presented at the same time: an identity-forming figure that brings the story of the state together in an emotional and technological way. The presentation shows how Baden-Württemberg powerfully combines creativity, technology and experience.
