German Creative Economy Summit 2025
The GCES 2025 brought together 1,100 creatives, entrepreneurs and thought leaders as well as representatives from politics and business in Hamburg. The focus was on the role of the creative economy as a driver of innovation and its importance for a resilient democracy. Numerous formats were held on the grounds of the Kulturfabrik Kampnagel to discuss how the industry can strengthen social cohesion and shape the future.
German Creative Economy Summit 2024
GCES 2024 was the first nationwide congress for the cultural and creative industries. On 6 and 7 March, over 100 speakers and representatives from politics and science came together at the Kulturfabrik Kampnagel in Hamburg. Key issues for the future of the industry were discussed on eight stages and in around 90 individual events - from innovation potential and political framework conditions to sustainable transformation and technological developments.
